I know that a lot of you affiliated with the artistic scene in Belfast already know and regularly attended the twice monthly 'Knights of the round table' gigs in the Pavilion bar Belfast.
For those who may not go I would urge them to I have been regularly going now for three months and they are excellent great music and poetry and a brilliant atmosphere. I have met some fantastic musicians and artists at these nights and they have also been inspiring my own work greatly.
Come along people it's always great craic.

Was great craic partying with the poets on Friday. Especially the drunken after-party involving Seamus entertaining the party with many witty anecdotes and poems including, to our delight, a flawless rendition of 'Ulster Fry' and 'Gis' a drink o' wine' whilst wearing a top hat! I also seem to remember Tom wearing a fake moustache and shades for some reason...
But seriously, thanks so much for your support, the Belfast Poets and the Knights have a truly beautiful friendship, and long may it last. Performance poetry has always been an important part of the unique atmosphere of the knights gigs. We couldn’t do it without you guys having the balls to get up there and give the crowd something different to the usual scene, something challenging, something to think about. So cheers for that. Its a great thing we have going now with the 'phat lip' open mic portion of the knights gigs, compared by the notorious Phat Bob. Keep up the good work my friends. The revolution is on!

This was actually the pilot version for a forthcoming "Audience" TV show.
There's been "An Audience with Des O'Connor"... "An Audience with Lilly Savage"...
and soon, coming to a BBC near you, it's "An Audience with Seamus 'Top Hat' Fox"
